Spring 2025 Collection
Every Spring and Fall, I will be offering a variety of prints. Each season there will be a new rotation with some never coming back for sale. The prints offered are mostly open-edition but with a few select limited releases from time to time.
The images chosen for the sale will either be from my current projects or from sights and scenes that stood out to me that I want to now share with you. Nevertheless, they are all cherished memories. You can browse the collection below.
If you wish to request a print size not offered in this selection or if there is an image you are interested in but not found here, reach out to me via email at nick@polofilmphoto.com and we can continue the conversation there!
The Collection
About The Prints
You will have the option of choosing from either Inkjet prints or handmade silver gelatin darkroom prints, both of which are carefully printed and provide incredible results.
Inkjet Prints
Fine Art Inkjet Paper — Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta is a beautiful, heavyweight cotton paper with a subtle glossy finish. It blends the look of a traditional darkroom fiber print with the precision and depth of modern inkjet printing. The surface has a soft sheen that brings out deep blacks, vivid highlights, and incredible detail.
Benefits:
Rich, museum-quality color and tonal depth
Soft gloss finish that enhances the image without overpowering it
100% cotton base for long-term durability and a luxurious feel
Archival quality — designed to last for generations without fading
Darkroom Silver Gelatin Prints
As for darkroom print orders, you will have the option of either choosing the Ilford Glossy Resin Coated (RC) option or the Ilford Glossy Fiber Based (FB) option.
Resin-Coated Paper (RC)
Resin-coated prints are made on paper sealed with a thin layer of plastic. They have a smooth finish, crisp details, and are more resistant to moisture and handling. RC prints are a great choice if you want something durable, vibrant, and ready to frame.
Benefits:
Sharper contrast and rich tones
More affordable without sacrificing quality
Dries flat and quickly, making it easy to display
Fiber-Based Paper (FB)
Fiber-based prints are made the traditional way — on pure, heavyweight paper without a plastic seal. They have a deeper, more organic texture and are often chosen for museum-quality and archival work. Each fiber print feels unique, handcrafted, and timeless.
Benefits:
Deeper blacks, finer tonal range, and rich texture
The most archival option — built to last generations
Carries the classic look and feel of traditional darkroom photography
